French Passport / Visa Photograph Requirements & Size
All French passports instruct thatparticulartypes of images, meeting particularbe used. Photography Specifications
- Image size 35mm by 45mm.
- Colour photo only.
- Head size between 32mm-36mm.
- Taken in the last 6 months.
- Background to be off white or light grey
- Neutral expression only no smile.
- Eyes Open and visible.
- Remove glasses.
- Religious headgear is ok, must see face.
Rules & requirements for babies and newborns Passport and Visa photographs
Rules regarding children and infants differ slightly although technical rules such as the size of the photo, remain the same. They must have their own photo taken without anyone else showing in the photo, including hands and arms for example.
- Head size can measure between 29mm and 36mm.
- Eyes need to be open and facing the camera.
- Mouth should be closed and not smiling.
- No toys, pacifiers or other objects can be in the picture. This includes hands if you are holding an infant.
